Technicolor’s MPC Film has been recognized by the Academy in this year’s best in the field of visual effects. The One and Only Ivan has received a nomination for Best Visual Effects at the Academy Awards as well as a nomination for Best Special Visual Effects at the British Academy Film Awards.

Congratulations to the Production VFX Supervisor Nick Davis, MPC VFX Supervisor Ben Jones, Animation Supervisor Greg Fisher, Animation Supervisor Santiago Colomo Martinez and the 500 artists across MPC Film’s studios in London, Montreal and Bangalore who worked together to craft 1055 shots for the film.
