The CNC conferences
📍Pavillon n°101 Film France – CNC at Cannes Film Festival.
📅 Saturday, 20th May from 3 to 4 pm – The French Experience: Shooting of the horror film The Nun 2 in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur with the international tax credit.
The 30% international tax credit for international productions and the 10% VFX bonus, will be presented following the case study of The Nun 2 shot in the south of France.

5 MPC films have been chosen for the official selection.
This year, we are pleased to have 5 films in the Official Competition and Un Certain Regard selection, for which our MPC Paris teams created the visual effects:
📍Wednesday, 17th May at 7:45 pm in the Salle Debussy
Le Règne Animal directed by Thomas Cailley will be presented as the opening film of the Un Certain Regard selection. Our MPC Paris teams created more than 150 VFX shots for this film, including feathered and furry creatures.
📍Friday, 19th May at 9:30 pm at the Cinéma de la Plage
The film Flo directed by Géraldine Danon is in the official selection at the Cinéma de la Plage. The MPC Paris teams, supervised by Lise Fischer, produced 87 shots for this film that narrates the incredible story of the sailor Florence Arthaud. See you on May 19th to watch the movie premiere, whilst with your feet in the sand!
📍Sunday, 21st May at 4pm in the Grand Théâtre Lumière
Anatomie d’une Chute by Justine Triet has been selected for the Official Competition and is therefore competing for the Palme d’Or. Our teams have made the VFX for this highly anticipated film at the festival!
📍Wednesday, 24th May at 6:30 pm at the Grand Théâtre Lumière
La Passion de Dodin Bouffant by Tran Anh Hung.
📍Thursday, May 25 at 8:30 pm in the Salle Debussy
Salem directed by Jean-Bernard Marlin is also part of the Un Certain Regard selection. The MPC Paris teams produced about 100 VFX shots supervised by Rodolphe Zirah, under the creative VFX direction of Sebastien Rame.
Our MPC VFX Supervisors and Producers will be present during the screenings of the 5 films at the festival. Don’t hesitate to come and meet them, and talk about their work!
